摘要
A post-time-reversed multiple-input multiple-output ultrawideband (UWB) transmission scheme is proposed, which enhances the energy capture and improves the system robustness against channel estimation error when compared with the pre-time-reversed UWB scheme and the classical (no TR) scheme. The advantages are: an improvement in bit-error-rate; and flexibility in a fast varying or extremely complex environment. Following the theoretical model description, simulation results are reported over two types of channels, the IEEE 802.15.3a proposed channel model, and a realistic office environment channel model. The results demonstrate the promise of the proposed scheme for higher data rates in a harsh environment.
