摘要
Within the effective-field theory with correlations, general expressions for evaluating the second-order phase transition line and tricritical point of the spin-2 transverse Ising model with the presence of a crystal field are obtained, The phase diagrams and the behavior of the tricritical point are studied numerically for the honeycomb lattice (z = 3).
