摘要
The main objective of the present article is to conduct an entropy generation analysis on a wall-driven mixed convection copper-water nanofluid flow in an inclined channel filled with a porous medium while considering Hall effect. The permeability of the porous medium is assumed to vary exponentially across the width of the channel, while viscous dissipation and convectively heated walls are also taken into account for the flow. Various comparisons for a special case of the current model with existing literature are done, and the results are found to be in excellent agreement. Role of pertinent flow parameters on entropy generation, Bejan number, Nusselt number and skin friction are explained via plots. Movement of walls along the direction of fluid flow is prominent in generating the least amount of entropy in the system. Hall parameter has a no effect on entropy generation and skin friction. The novelty of the present investigation lies in the fact that the moving walls of the channel have been considered simultaneously with the variable permeability of the porous medium.
