摘要
The present study aimed to try a simple passive control system by a self-resonator based on the idea of the Helmholtz resonator. The resonator was installed to the delivery duct, which is composed of the holes in the delivery duct and the outer cylindrical reservoir tank. The resonator responded to the fluctuation of now like an exhaust muffler of a piston engine. The volume of the reservoir tank was held constant and the number of holes of the delivery duct were changed to 8, 16 and 36. The resonator was quite effective for a mild surge accompanying rotating stall, and the frequency of the fluctuation by surge was low.
