Theoretical and experimental studies of forced gas oscillations in a cubic resonator with a throat near resonance are carried out. At the resonance frequency, the gas pressure waveform is close to harmonic in time. The amplitude-frequency characteristics are built. A satisfactory agreement between calculation results for the spatial distribution of the gas pressure oscillation amplitude in the resonator with the obtained experimental data is shown.(c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
