摘要
In this work, we proposed an ultra-short lossless plasmonic power splitter design based on the metal?insulator?metal waveguide. The optical losses of the power splitter are highly affected by the T-junction where surface plasmon polariton waves are reflected back and reduce the power transfer to the output ports. In order to overcome this problem, we introduced a V-shaped compensated T-junctions which significantly reduces the optical losses of the power splitter. The optical losses for the whole C-band telecommunication window for our proposed design are in the range of 0.19?1.11 dB.
