摘要
Purpose of Review To examine the state of the literature as it applies to the treatment options for idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Recent Findings There is an overwhelming amount of data with regard to the management of iSSNHL with a variety of treatment protocols and high spontaneous rates of recovery. Herein, we discuss the data surrounding antivirals, antioxidants, vasoactive substances, systemic and intratympanic steroids, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the treatment of this condition. Heterogeneity of inclusion criteria, patient characteristics, control groups, and treatment regimens render it difficult-to-impossible to generalize as to the efficacy of the below regimens.
