摘要
Aptamers are short synthetic single-stranded DNA or RNA oligonucleotides forming unique 3-D conformation. They are able to bind and neutralize their tat-get molecules with high specificity and affinity. Therefore, they may specifically interfere in vivo with some protein function and thus display drug-like properties. This paper provides a brief description of possible clinical application of aptamers arguing for their tremendous therapeutic possibilities.
