摘要
A Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Fed linearly tapered slot Filtenna for millimeter-wave 5G applications is demonstrated in this paper. It functions fundamentally as an antipodal linearly tapered slot antenna (ALTSF) provided by a SIW feed. This study also describes the design and analysis of the SIW to Microstrip transition for mm-wave applications. The ALTSFA's recommended design has been simulated using MATLAB Antenna Toolbox software. The proposed design has a maximum gain of 10.32 dBi and a bandwidth of 23.8 GHz to 45.2GHz. The same was fabricated and the simulated and measured results are found to be in good agreement. For 5G applications, this Filtenna might be a serious competitor.
