Relativistic stimulated Raman scattering in a plasma channel

摘要
An intense laser radiation propagating in a plasma channel undergoes stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) and produces a Langmuir and a sideband electromagnetic wave. At higher laser power, relativistic effects become important. It has been found that, the growth rate is dependent on the localization of the Langmuir wave. The growth rate of the process is maximum near the axis.
