Observation of folded phonons in the photoluminescence spectra of GaAs/GaAsP superlattices

摘要：
The fine structure of the photoluminescence spectra of GaAs/GaAsP superlattices has been studied in a wide temperature range. The temperature behaviour of satellites of the main maxima is explained by the optical recombination processes with participation of folded acoustical phonons with wave vectors in the layers plane. The model calculation of phonon spectra for GaAs/GaP superlattice gives results which are in reasonable agreement with the experimental data.
