摘要
With the development of the new genomic sequencing technologies, a lot of new assembly algorithms have emerged. This paper summarizes the basic principles of the new assembly algorithms widely recognized internationally and describes a genome assembly platform we developed. The platform integrates 4 main programs designed especially for users to facilitate operation. We compared the performance of the programs mentioned above with assembly results of sequenced reads of Helicobacter acinonychis genome and verified that Velvet is the best assembly algorithm at present according to both cost time and the length of N50.
