摘要
The main disadvantage of in-line holography is the well-known inherent twin-image problem. Efforts have been made to remove the disturbance of twin-images[1]-[4]. But there are still drawbacks and limitations in the previous methods. In this paper, a new technique for twin-image elimination in digital inline holography is proposed. This method is based on the principle of off-axis reconstruction of in-line holograms which is a new approach in the field of optical holography. Principle analysis and computer simulation, as well as experimental results showed that it is a simple but efficient method to eliminate the twin-images of digital in-line holograms. It is expected that this method is promising for fluid-field measurement and soft X-ray holography that are applicable to medical investigations.
