摘要：

The article presents the situation of intermodal transport in new EU states. The development of an intermodal transport network will the enhanced mobility of freight using efficiently various possibilities of interconnection between different transport modes and better business conditions for industry and trade. The main measures for development intermodal transport are connected with the development of intermodal infrastructure and innovative technologies. Modalohr technology or combined transport is presented. There are proposed recommendations for the development of intermodality in new EU countries.
