摘要：

The direct synthesis of LaPO4 and La0.96Sr0.04PO4 monazite using nitrates and phosphoric acid to produce uniform and non-agglomerated monazite powders without the formation of any intermediate hydrated rhabdophane phase (LaPO4 center dot 1/2H(2)O) is described.
