The dynamics of heat generating fluids, caused by flow-rate changes, is studied when heat is transferred to constant temperature surroundings. The problem faced in this work is the thermal unsteady regime due to a flow change of a one-dimensional fluid stream in a condition of thermal exchange with a fluid at constant temperature. A heat generation function of time and temperature is present. General results are then applied to solve particular situations. Numerical results have been achieved, and a discussion is given to assess them.
