摘要：

The possibility of describing water sorption by strongly basic ion ionites in terms of a strong electrolyte model is examined. The logarithm of the mole fraction of water in the internal solution is a function of the DVB (divinylbenzene) content in the anionite and the osmotic coefficient of the electrolyte-exchanger in the internal solution. The latter is calculated by the formula previously proposed by E.M. Kuznetsova.
