摘要
Control, coordination and performance of a DC microgrid under different modes of operation, are investigated in this paper. The DC microgrid under consideration consists of grid connected converter, Energy storage system ( ESS), Solar PV plant and several DC loads. Decentralized control strategy based on coordinated control of grid converter, ESS, solar PV plant and loads is proposed. Energy management scheme for ESS based on state of charge level and load management with load shedding, is proposed to ensure the stability and efficient operation of the DC microgrid. PSCAD/EMTDC simulations are presented to evaluate the operation performance of the proposed control scheme. The dynamic performance of the system under different operating conditions such as, operation in grid connected and islanded mode, variations in solar PV generation and load, AC and DC faults are evaluated.
