摘要
This paper is concerned with the calculation of the photoabsorption cross sections of diatomic molecules that occur in plasma SF(6) + PTFE. Attention is given only to the photoabsorption in visible and ultraviolet part of the spectra because results serve as input data for mathematical modelling of energy heat transfer in arc plasmas. Simple approximate formulas for electronic transitions (molecular bands) are presented. Results obtained for selected diatomic molecules occurring in studied arc plasma are compared with the data available in literature.
