摘要
With the introduction of Cone-Beam CT (CBCT) imaging techniques, dentistry has entered in a new era. The assessment of oral and maxillofacial structures with 3-D images and very thin slices open new possibilities for patient evaluation who consult with orofacial pain. This article provides an overview of the clinical situations where CBCT could help for the assessment of orofacial pain problems and contributes to the diagnostic process.
