We narrated in this manuscript from the research initiated by Freitas and Moura (2006), with a temporal cut from 1960 to 1980, the continuum of research-memories (2010, 2013 and 2018) of Youth and Adult Education (YAE), aimimgto socialize the documental network whichhas been established in the State of Alagoas. In this sense, the writings presented here are intertwined in the tracks of Oral History, taking as a reference the studies byAlberti (2008) and Portelli (2010). The evocation of memory and its implications in the reconstruction of history in our studies have firmly established in theoretical postulates of Amado (1995), Bosi (1994), Halbwachs (2006) and Pollack (1989). We articulate the interaction of oral sources with other sources - written documents, images, among others, in the perspective of the composition of a documentary network. The oral and visual sources, especially on this walk, helped us to deconstruct ready and finished ideas concemingcertain knowledge, revealed the complexity of sensitive listening and have thrown us into new adventures in each investigation carried out whichhas allowing the construction of a documentary network. It also contributes to new interpretations that have emerged from memories and life histories, indelibly marked, often not credited as possible. And finally they left clues to keep goingto reconstruct the history of Youth and Adults Education in Alagoas.
