摘要
The present paper is focused on the calibration of rotating torque transducers used in test stands in the automotive industry. The method suggested in the paper is on-site calibration by using torque reference transducers. Although this calibration method is already in use in various cases, the question of measurement uncertainty is often not considered. The paper gives practical suggestions on how to estimate a measurement uncertainty for calibration units used for the on-site calibration. Thereof recommendations are derived for the required properties of the hardware components of such calibration units.
