Conscientiousness as a Mediator of the Relationship between Intra-Organizational Trust and Organizational Citizenship Behavior

摘要
This study examined relationships among intra-organizational trust, OCB and conscientiousness. Results demonstrated that ETS and ETO were positively related to three dimensions of OCB (protecting company resources, identification with company, and personal Initiation). ETO had a positive impact on altruism toward colleagues. ETS and ETO had not been found to predict interpersonal harmony. The authors also found that the relationship between ETO and three dimensions of OCB (personal Initiation, altruism toward colleagues, and identification with company) was moderated by conscientiousness. Conscientiousness was not a moderator of the relationship between ETS and OCB.
