By focusing research attention on vocational education centres, this study try to demonstrate that quality must be a central concern for each education and training system. The paper argues that quality becomes an important issue from two points of view: that of competition on the market and that of consumer protection. This article also presents some findings and results of a survey: (1) the need to invest in learning; (2) the need for a comprehensive national partnership of government, industry and individuals to guide investment in vocational education and training; (3) the need to implement a system of management by process (ISO 9001:2000); (4) a need of introducing innovation in learning process. The paper suggests some revisions and improvements in existing curricular plans and in the design of the courses. Finally, in this paper it is argued that if we want to implement quality in vocational training centres is very important to maintain quality of teaching.
