摘要
Cloud Computing is becoming a new computing model that organizations are adopting, mainly for the great benefits that presents. Platform as a Service (PaaS), enables the development of modern applications in cloud infrastructures, abstracting developers several infrastructure management issues. Due to the growing number of existing PaaS providers, the selection of a provider whose services are most appropriate to the requirements of an organization is not a trivial problem, considering the variety of options and the absence of appropriate comparable metrics. This work presents a framework for a methodological selection of a PaaS provider, providing suitable metrics to compare heterogeneous PaaS environments offered by existing providers. As an example of utilization of the proposed framework, two PaaS providers were compared.
