TWO-PARTICLE CORRELATIONS AT THE LHCb

摘要：
Results from the LHCb experiment on two different types of correlations in proton-proton collisions at the centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV are presented. Kinematic b (b) over bar correlations are studied using inclusive b -> J/psi X decays and are observed to be in good agreement with theoretical predictions. Measurement of the Bose-Einstein correlations for same-sign charged pions is performed and dependence of the correlation parameters on the charged-particle multiplicity is investigated. The determined correlation radius is observed to increase with the charged-particle multiplicity, while the chaoticity parameter decreases.
