摘要
Highly compact slot antennas fed by coplanar wave-guide were designed, fabricated, and integrated with ground penetrating radar system. The low-profile slot antenna demonstrated wide frequency bandwidth of 1.4-3.5 GHz, with over 6-dBi radiation gain and small dispersion. GPR tests in both air-coupled and ground-coupled modes with sandbox and concrete slab verified its high resolution and good penetrating capability, showing its great potential in compact under-vehicle GPR system application.
