Deposition of fullerene C60 nanoparticles on a polystyrene surface from a colloidal solution

摘要
Stable suspensions of fullerene stabilized by polyvinylpyrrolidone are obtained by dissolving the fullerene C-60 complex with polyvinylpyrrolidone in water. The particle-size distribution is determined by the dynamic fight scattering technique. It is noted that, on preliminarily nitrated or sulfonated polystyrene plates placed in such suspensions, the finest suspension particles are deposited. The samples obtained are studied by transmission spectroscopy in the UV and visible spectral ranges and by atomic-force microscopy.
