摘要
Heat and mass transfer in are and beam welding is considered. The main objectives are analysis of the heat transfer in the weld pool and the workpiece and to demonstrate how computer simulation can be used as a tool to predict the temperature distribution as the determining element of the heat effects of welding. Simulation results two particular welding processes are compared and validated with measurements.
