Thermoluminescence properties have been determined for the perovskite-like KMgF3 containing various dopant metals (Pb, Cr, Ag), in order to test the dosimetric features of these systems. The glow curves, recorded after beta irradiation, show several peaks depending on the kind of impurity, but all materials exhibit a typical glow peak at about 170-180 degrees C, which in general is well resolved and then can be considered as the dosimetric peak. Annealing of the samples at 400 degrees C is found to be effective for stabilisation of their sensitivity. A detailed study is carried out on low temperature pre-irradiation annealing, postirradiation annealing, lowest detectable limit and dose response of the different systems, and a comparison of their sensitivities with that of LiF:Mg,Ti is attempted.
