The neologisms of German ancestry in Bulgarian

There are numerous new German words among the neologisms which emerged in Bulgarian language during the last years after the)turn(( in Bulgaria at the end of 1989. Their borrowing way follows the German or Austrian presence in Bulgaria. Thus, the car import and the chain stores from Germany and Austria operating in Bulgaria are the main gateway for the new germanisms. Among the new lexemes from German origin, one can notice not only true German borrowings but also new meanings of already established germanisms as well as new pseudo germanisms which Bulgarian builds for its own use from German or German looking word-formation elements.
