摘要
Ba(Fe1/3Ti1/3W1/3)O-3, was successfully prepared by the cost effective mixed oxide reaction method at 1000 degrees C. Analysis of X-ray diffraction (XRD) data indicates the crystallization of the compound in the orthorhombic crystal system. A dielectric anomaly observed at around 59 degrees C shifts to the higher temperature side with increase in frequency can be explained by Maxwell-Wagner polarization mechanism, whereas an another anomaly observed at 126 degrees C can be considered as the ferroelectric to paraelectric transition. The dielectric property was analyzed by modified Cole-Cole relation, and the impedance using Nyquist plot. The activation energy calculated from grain resistance and the relaxation parameters amounts to be 0.54 eV. Analysis of the conductivity curves using the Jonscher's power law suggests OLPT model and CBH model as the dominant conduction mechanism in the ferroelectric and paraelectric phase in the sample. The ferroelectricity of the sample was confirmed by the room temperature (PE)-E-similar to loop.
