摘要
In the present research, chemisorption of CO2 at 300 degrees C on chars of as-received, demineralized, K, Fe and Ni loaded coals was investigated. The method used to evaluate the amount of chemisorbed CO2 allowed the differentiation between strongly (irreversible) and weakly (reversible) chemisorbed CO2. The irreversible CO2 is related to the minerals in the char. This amount was enhanced by the presence of K, Fe and Ni on the sample. The reversible CO2 is associated with the organic part of the char. The amount of strongly chemisorbed CO2 at 300 degrees C is a good parameter to normalize the gasification reactivity of the char.
