摘要：
This paper deals with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) as a main building block of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) and cyber physical systems. Internet of Things (IoT) and IIoT and their basic differences are described as well as functional model of IIoT system with the system architecture. A short overview of IIoT technology in the electric power energy sector, as well as implementation challenges are also addressed.
