The five (0-0, 0-1, 0-2, 1-0, and 1-1) bands of the B-2 Sigma-X(2) Pi system of the CH radical have been recorded and analyzed using conventional spectroscopy. The 0-1 and 0-2 bands have been observed for the first time. The spectrum was photographed under high resolution and calibrated against Th lines. The reduction of the spectra of the individual bands has been performed via a nonlinear least-squares fit with the effective Hamiltonians of Brown. By making use of merged calculation we have determined the B-v, D-v, H-v, and gamma(v) constant values for the B-2 Sigma(-)(v=0,1) levels and the T-v'(2 Sigma-) -T-v'(2 Pi) band origin values for the analyzed bands.
