THE USE OF FLEXIBLE STRATEGIES IN STUDY PROCESS OF ART SUBJECTS AT HIGHER EDUCATION

Flexible education strategies in the fields of arts have been constantly changing and improving, especially during the epidemic, when professors supplemented established educational strategies with flexible strategies. As this field is still relatively unexplored, we wanted to use qualitative research to determine the opinions of professors at pedagogical faculties in Slovenia and Croatia on the implementation of the distance learning process using flexible strategies of education. 28 professors were included, with whom we conducted semi-structured interviews and found that they introduced changes according to their own competencies in the use of available technology and different working conditions. We also found that some of them would like to maintain certain innovations of flexible strategies of learning in the lecture hall, as they proved to be effective in learning about different artistic contents. The conducted research will serve the development and more thoughtful use of flexible education strategies in learning about artistic content at higher education, both remotely and directly in the lecture hall.
