摘要
Passive Radars do not have their own transmitters. The performance of FM based Passive Radar depends heavily on the type of program being played. Rich bandwidth program results in fewer false detections owing to better cancellation of reference signals. At the same time a low bandwidth system impedes the proper clutter cancellation. Hence, the performance of Passive Radars intermittently spoils during poor waveforms. Tracking under high clutter scenario results in lots of false tracks. This paper provides an approach for bistatic tracking and a simple but effective scheme to alleviate false tracks without greatly impacting tracking of targets during poor waveform intervals. The paper also provides the comparison with and without the scheme on real-time data collected from the deployed sensors.
