Analysis of flowfields in multiple lateral jet interaction

摘要
This analysis is accomplished in order to understand the interactions, of multiple jets. Numerical prediction of the hypersonic viscous flow was obtained by using Navier-Stokes computational technique. A detailed numerical investigation of the interaction between jets and the external flow is performed for the missile body geometry. with two lateral jets at the Mach number 5.0 and the angles of attack 10,0 and +10 degrees. Detailed flow visualization is conducted for highlight of the complex nature of the jet interaction phenomena and deeper insight into the physics of the flow structure was gained., The results show the significant interactions of multiple lateral jets and the induced flowfield and an important effect of the angle of attack on the performance of attitude control jets.
