摘要
Relationships between the ordered crystal structures and dislocations that control the plastic deformation of intermetallics are briefly discussed. An emphasises is put on those aspects of high temperature deformation which can be considered as general for the ordered structures on both fee and bcc cubic lattices. In particular, the indications that demonstrate an important role of non-conservative processes with respect to traditionally considered dislocation glide are discussed.
