摘要
The main purpose of this paper is to analyze students' perceptions with the use of "the puzzle-based learning" methodology in an Operations Management subject of the Business Administration and Management Degree at the University of Cantabria (UC). More precisely, the empirical analysis was performed from three points of view: students' perception of methodology effectiveness for obtaining general and subject specific skills, students' global satisfaction with this teaching methodology and students' final marks obtained in the subject under study. Data were collected during the academic year 2016-2017, at the moment of introduction of this learning methodology. The results obtained from this experience allow us to discuss if these active learning tools contribute significantly to bridge the gap between theory and practice by improving knowledge acquisition.
