Temperature tuning of BaGa4Se7 optical parametric oscillator

摘要
The temperature tuning of BaGa4Se7 (BGSe) was demonstrated for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. When the temperature of BGSe (56.3 degrees,0 degrees) was raised from 30 degrees C to 140 degrees C, the idler light under type I raised from 3637 nm to 3989 nm, the tunable range reached 352 nm, and Delta lambda(2)/Delta T reached 3.20 nm/degrees C. We calculated the phase matching curve of BGSe when empty set and T took different values. The relationship between theta and Delta lambda(2)/Delta T was obtained by fixing empty set at 0 degrees. The maximum Delta lambda(2)/Delta T and its corresponding (theta, empty set) phase matching type were reported under different fixed lambda(2) (3 mu m, 3.2 mu m, ..., 5 mu m).
