In this paper, we consider the existence of positive solutions of second-order periodic boundary value problem u '' + (1/2 + epsilon)(2) u = lambda g(t)f(u), t is an element of [0, 2 pi], u(0) = u(2 pi), u'(0) = u'(2 pi), where 0 < epsilon < 1/2, g: [0, 2 pi] -> R is continuous, f : [0, infinity) -> R is continuous and lambda > 0 is a parameter.
