摘要：

In the 1930s the Spanish woman artist Maria de los Angeles Lopez-Roberts (Madrid, 1902-1974) developed a successful career as a female illustrator in Paris. She was appreciated by French critics for her contributions to the renewal of youth illustration, in which she incorporated influences from avant-garde and Art Deco aesthetics. This paper analyzes the intense production that she carried out as a female illustrator during the period in which she lived in the French capital.
