摘要：

We present a case of a ballet dancer who was referred for skeletal scintigraphy because of bilateral leg pain. In addition to diffuse stress changes in the legs and feet, skeletal scintigraphy showed bilateral focal uptake in posterolateral lower ribs. The patient had not experienced rib pain. These scintigraphic abnormalities can be attributed to frequent dancing routines in which the patient was held by the sides of the thorax and lifted, causing microtrauma to the ribs.
