摘要
We already know that the anonymous author of Celestina comentada (c. 1580) was an erudite professional of law, who had a marked proclivity to teach and reach his audience with the help of translation. He also had an interest in medicine and was very influenced by commentaries such as Hernan Nunez' to Menas's work. Through a study of his working library, this article concludes that he lived in Valladolid and that he was a follower of the method of legal interpretation known as mos gallicus. This profile points to Bernardino Daza (1528-158?), the author of Los emblemas de Alciato traducidos en rimas castellanas (1549), who completed his law studies in France and was a professor of civil law at the university of Valladolid, where he probably met Hernan Nunez.
