摘要：

The article studies the processes of revival and further evolution of the administrative-command system of the Soviet economy. In this context the attempts to bring forms and methods of economic management in compliance with the objective laws of the public production development are characterized (meaning the uncompleted "turns" of 1956, 1965, 1985). Contradictions and inconsistence of these transformations is demonstrated. It is concluded that it was de-facto impossible to provide fundamental changes in the economy which would promote the optimal combination of directive and economic methods in management.
