We present a study about the relation between the tap intensity for compaction of granular assemblies and the associated compacity dynamics. This numercial work is based on the non-smooth contact dynamics. Firstly, we investigate different values of frequency f for the sinusoidal movement of the container. A large set of behaviors is observed while the value of the reduced acceleration Gamma is constant. Secondly, an alternative parameter for characterized the tap intensity is proposed and based on the energetical approach of the problem. The result of our invetigation is that the energetic parameter is more relevant than the reduce acceleration. The data of compacity could be rescaled using this new paramter.
