摘要
We have used the projector quantum Monte Carlo method to study the magnetic properties of the two-dimensional Hubbard model at half-filling as a function of the on-site repulsion U. Applying spin-density waves as initial trial state, we obtain excellent convergence of the algorithm for the case of weak and of strong correlations. This choice allows us to calculate directly the staggered (or sublattice) magnetization m(0) as a function of U.
