摘要
Geometrically metastable detectors consist of macroscopically thin superconducting metallic lamina held in a perpendicular magnetic field, which admit Bur under irradiation. We describe their performance aspects, and present measurements of the Re-187 decay obtained at 330 mK with a 25 mu m thick natural rhenium strip. The results are assessed with respect to the device capability to provide high-resolution data in the near-endpoint region of the decay. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
