摘要
This paper presents an adaptive combined DFE/RSSE structure for transmission using a large constellation size over a slowly time-varying channel with severe ISI. This structure combines the conventional decision-feedback equalization (DFE) with the reduced state sequence estimation (RSSE). Analytical and simulation results carried out for 8PSK signals indicate that the proposed scheme outperforms both the conventional DFE and RSSE techniques.
